Job Description
Job Purpose:
To provide excellent service through efficient customer support, point-of-sale operations, and store merchandising that creates a positive experience for customers.
Job Objectives:
- Carry out all point-of-sale tasks quickly and accurately.
- Scan items correctly and handle payments, including clubcard rewards.
- Handle cash safely at all times.
- Promote the Clicks clubcard and sign up new members to meet targets.
- Inform customers about promotions to boost sales and help them feel good while saving money.
- Deliver top customer service by being a brand ambassador, staying visible, and offering friendly, professional help.
- Perform merchandising and housekeeping tasks to meet store and visual standards.
- Ensure ongoing excellent service by improving your skills, learning about products, and sharing knowledge with relief staff.
- Support the company’s goal to be the top choice for health and beauty retail by following company values.
- Stay informed about products, ranges, promotions, and events to give accurate information to customers.
Minimum Requirements
Qualifications and Experience:
- Essential: Grade 12
- Desirable: 50% in Maths and English at Grade 12 level
- Desirable: Relevant Retail or Business Management qualification
- Desirable: Experience in a customer-facing role in retail or FMCG store operations
Skills, Abilities, and Job-Related Knowledge:
