Job Description

Job Purpose:

To provide top service through quick customer support, point-of-sale tasks, and in-store merchandising that creates a positive experience for customers.

Job Objectives:

• Carry out all point-of-sale tasks quickly and accurately.
• Scan items correctly and handle payments, including clubcard rewards, with high accuracy.
• Handle cash safely at all times.
• Promote the Clicks clubcard actively and sign up new members to meet targets.
• Inform customers about promotions to boost sales and help them “feel good and pay less.”
• Offer outstanding customer service by acting as a brand representative, being approachable, and providing friendly, professional help.
• Perform merchandising and housekeeping duties to meet store and visual standards.
• Focus on your own growth and product knowledge, and share information with team members to ensure consistent service.
• Support the company’s goal to be the top choice for health and beauty by following its values.
• Stay updated on products, ranges, promotions, and events to give accurate information to customers.

Minimum Requirements

Qualifications and Experience:

• Essential: Grade 12
• Desirable: 50% in Maths and English at Grade 12 level
• Desirable: Relevant qualification in Retail or Business Management
• Desirable: Experience in a customer-facing role in retail or FMCG operations
