Job Description

Job Purpose:

To provide excellent service through efficient customer support, point-of-sale operations, and in-store merchandising that creates a positive experience for customers.

Job Objectives:

  • Carry out all point-of-sale tasks quickly and efficiently.
  • Scan items accurately and process payments, including clubcard rewards.
  • Handle cash safely at all times.
  • Promote the Clicks clubcard actively and sign up new members to meet targets.
  • Inform customers about promotions to boost sales and help them “feel good and pay less.”
  • Offer top customer service by acting as a brand ambassador, being approachable, friendly, and professional.
  • Perform merchandising and housekeeping tasks to meet store and visual standards.
  • Ensure ongoing excellent service by developing your skills, building product knowledge, and sharing information with team members.
  • Support the company’s vision to be the top choice for health and beauty retail by embodying our values.
  • Stay informed about products, ranges, promotions, and events to give accurate information to customers.

Minimum Requirements

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Grade 12 (essential)

  • Basic math skills
  • Background in retail or FMCG, with knowledge of merchandising and promotions
  • Understanding of stock management processes
  • Knowledge of customer service best practices
