Job Description

Key Objectives:

• Carry out all point-of-sale tasks quickly and accurately.
• Scan items correctly and process payments, including clubcard rewards.
• Handle cash securely at all times.
• Promote the Clicks clubcard and sign up new members to meet targets.
• Inform customers about promotions to boost sales and help them save money.
• Provide outstanding customer service by being friendly, professional, and visible as a brand representative.
• Perform merchandising and housekeeping tasks to meet store and visual standards.
• Support the company’s goal to be the top choice for health and beauty by embodying its values.
• Stay informed about products, promotions, and events to give accurate information to customers.

Knowledge Required:

• Basic math skills.
• Background in retail or fast-moving consumer goods, including merchandising and promotions.
• Understanding of stock management processes.

Minimum Requirements

Experience:

• Preferred: Experience in a customer-facing role in retail or fast-moving consumer goods operations.

Education:

• Required: Grade 12.
• Preferred: At least 50% in Maths and English at Grade 12 level.
