Job Description
Job Objectives:
- Efficiently carry out all operational activities at the point of sale in a timely and effective way.
- Maintain high levels of accuracy when scanning merchandise and collecting payment for goods, including handling clubcard rewards.
- Ensure the safe handling of cash at all times.
- Proactively promote the Clicks clubcard and enroll new members to meet clubcard participation targets.
- Inform customers about promotions to boost sales and help them “feel good and pay less.”
- Provide superior customer service by acting as a brand ambassador, being visible, and offering friendly and professional support.
- Efficiently perform and maintain all merchandising and general housekeeping duties according to store and visual merchandise standards.
- Support the Group’s vision to be the customer’s first choice for health and beauty retail by living and driving the company values.
- Keep updated knowledge on products, ranges, promotions, and events to give customers accurate information at all times.
Knowledge:
- Basic math calculations
- Retail or FMCG background, including understanding of merchandising and promotions principles
- Understanding of stock management procedures

Minimum Requirements
Experience:
- Desirable: Experience in a customer-facing role within a retail or FMCG store operations environment
Education:
- Essential: Grade 12
- Desirable: Maths 50% and English 50% at Grade 12 level
