Job Description

Job Objectives:

• Carry out all point-of-sale tasks quickly and accurately.
• Scan items correctly and process payments, including clubcard rewards.
• Handle cash safely at all times.
• Promote the Clicks clubcard and sign up new members to meet targets.
• Inform customers about promotions to boost sales and help them save money.
• Provide top customer service by acting as a brand representative, staying visible, and being friendly and professional.
• Perform merchandising and housekeeping duties to meet store and visual standards.
• Support the company’s goal to be the top choice for health and beauty shopping by following its values.
• Stay informed about products, ranges, promotions, and events to give accurate information to customers.

Knowledge:

• Basic math skills.
• Background in retail or FMCG, including merchandising and promotions.
• Understanding of stock management.
• Knowledge of excellent customer service.

Minimum Requirements

Experience:

• Preferred: Experience in a customer-facing role in retail or FMCG store operations.

Education:

• Required: Grade 12.
• Preferred: 50% in Maths and English at Grade 12 level.
