Introduction

This role focuses on delivering excellent service through efficient customer support, point-of-sale operations, and in-store merchandising to create a positive experience for every customer.

Job Objectives

• Carry out all point-of-sale tasks quickly and accurately.
• Scan items correctly, process payments, and handle club card rewards with precision.
• Handle cash securely at all times.
• Promote the Clicks club card and sign up new members to meet participation goals.
• Inform customers about promotions to boost sales and help them save money.
• Provide outstanding customer service by being friendly, professional, and a true brand representative.
• Perform merchandising and housekeeping tasks to meet store and visual standards.
• Support the company’s goal to be the top choice for health and beauty by embracing its values.
• Stay informed about products, promotions, and events to give accurate advice to customers.

Knowledge Required

• Basic math skills
• Understanding of retail and fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG), including merchandising and promotions
• Knowledge of stock management processes
• Skills in delivering excellent customer service

Minimum Requirements

Experience:

• Preferred: Experience in a customer-facing role in retail or FMCG store operations

Education:

• Required: Grade 12
• Preferred: At least 50% in Maths and English at Grade 12 level
