Position Purpose:
- Implement SHEQ management systems to control safety, health, environmental, and quality risks
- Develop responsible safety practices aligned with client requirements
Key Requirements:
Education:
- Grade 12 certificate
- National Diploma/BTech in Safety Management
Experience:
- 2+ years in safety roles
- Tailings management experience preferred
- Valid driver’s license required
Core Responsibilities:
Policy Implementation:
- Maintain SHE policy visibility across all operations
- Communicate safety objectives to staff and clients
Compliance Management:
- Ensure legal compliance and document submissions
- Review role assignments quarterly
Risk Management:
- Conduct workplace risk assessments
- Monitor injury claims and employee health status
Key Skills:
- Safety training and communication abilities
- Project coordination skills
- Strong organizational capabilities
