Position Details
Position: Curriculum Services Specialist – Senior Phase Languages
Location: Eastern Cape
Job Type: Full-Time
Experience: 5+ years in education
Fields: Language Instruction, Education Leadership
Key Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with teaching certification
- SACE professional registration
- 5+ years teaching experience with subject specialization
- Valid Code 08 driver’s license
- Leadership experience (e.g., Head of Department) preferred
Key Responsibilities
- Lead curriculum development and teacher training programs
- Create educational resources including lesson plans and learning materials
- Implement quality teaching strategies for language subjects
- Manage stakeholder partnerships and sector collaborations
- Monitor curriculum implementation and prepare performance reports
Essential Skills
- Strong understanding of current education policies
- Proven curriculum development capabilities
- Excellent communication across all levels
- Project management and training expertise
- Data analysis and reporting proficiency
