Position Title

Curriculum Services Specialist: FET & GET (Languages Intermediate)

Key Details

• Employment Type: Full-Time
• Required Education: Bachelor’s Degree / Higher National Certificate / National Certificate
• Experience: Minimum 5 years in education
• Location: Eastern Cape, South Africa
• Field: Education & Language Instruction

Required Qualifications

• 3-4 year teaching qualification with SACE registration
• Specialization in subject area applied for
• Valid driver’s license (Code 08)
• Preferred: Leadership experience as Head of Department

Core Responsibilities

• Lead curriculum implementation and teacher training programs
• Develop teaching materials (lesson plans, assessments, resources)
• Facilitate stakeholder collaboration and knowledge sharing
• Monitor education policies and curriculum standards
• Conduct school support visits and performance evaluations

Key Competencies

• Expertise in subject-specific teaching methodologies
• Strong project management and reporting skills
• Effective communication across all organizational levels
• Curriculum analysis and improvement strategies
