Key Qualifications
- Teaching qualification with SACE registration
- Specialization in Afrikaans Language and Arts Education
- Valid driver’s license (Code 08)
- Leadership experience (department head role preferred)
Core Responsibilities
- Develop curriculum materials including lesson plans and educational resources
- Conduct teacher training programs and workshops
- Manage educational projects and curriculum implementation
- Ensure compliance with national education policies
- Foster partnerships with educational stakeholders
- Monitor teaching standards and learning outcomes
Essential Skills
- Comprehensive understanding of CAPS curriculum
- Strong classroom experience across senior school levels
- Proficiency in educational resource development
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities
- Strategic planning and reporting capabilities
