Job Purpose:

  • To monitor the provision of municipal water and sanitation services.

Requirements:

  • Matric Certificate
  • Diploma or Degree (NQF 6) in Water Management, Water Sciences, Water and Sanitation, Water Care, Water Resource Management, Water Engineering, Water Quality Management, Sanitation Management, or Environmental Sciences, as recognized by SAQA
  • Minimum 2 years relevant experience in a Water and Sanitation environment
  • A valid driver’s license

Duties:

  • Provide technical support on municipal Blue Drop and Green Drop certification processes
  • Provide guidance on water quality management and monitoring
  • Provide technical support on municipal sanitation services, planning, and monitoring
  • Review the implementation of municipal water and sanitation services development plans
  • Maintain municipal compliance with water and sanitation quality standards
  • Review water and sanitation municipal project plans
