Senior Testing Officer

Salary: R 625 656.24 per annum (Job level 5)

The job purpose of the Senior Testing Officer is to coordinate a competent testing team with high testing standards and educate the public on all aspects of driver’s license testing.

Key Performance Areas: The Senior Testing Officer must ensure that daily work is done to satisfaction and achieves the objectives of Council. Responsibilities include:

  • Coordinating road-worthiness tests of vehicles
  • Supervising and controlling the testing station/centre
  • Providing staff supervision
  • Supervising and monitoring the use, application, and maintenance of machinery, equipment, tools, and materials
  • Performing administrative and human resources related activities

Requirements:

  • National Diploma in Transport Management
  • Vehicle Inspector Diploma
  • Testing Driver’s License Diploma
  • Registered as Grade A Testing Officer
  • Driver’s license and three (3) years relevant experience
