About Us:

Vaal Central Water provides essential bulk water services to municipalities and mining operations across the Northern Cape and Free State regions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct chemical analysis of potable water and wastewater
• Perform root cause analysis for laboratory non-conformances
• Ensure compliance with ISO 17025:2017 standards
• Report non-standard results to regional management
• Supervise chemistry laboratory operations
• Develop and maintain standard operating procedures
• Enforce health and safety protocols

Requirements:

• B-Tech/BSc in Chemistry or related field
• 2+ years experience in accredited laboratories
• 1+ year supervisory experience
• Working knowledge of ISO 17025:2017
• Proficiency in report writing and data analysis
• Valid driver’s license
• Computer literacy essential
