Position Overview
Deliver expert technical guidance and design thinking solutions for SARS’ technology modernization efforts, focusing on Cloud compliance and high-value technology contracts.
Key Qualifications
- Education:
– Bachelor’s Degree/Advanced Diploma (NQF 7) in IT + 8-10 years’ experience OR
– Senior Certificate (NQF 4) + 15 years’ experience - Certifications: ITIL/COBIT required; Microsoft Azure/Cloud Platform certifications preferred
- Experience: 8-15 years in IT Service Management (Cloud Governance, Risk & Compliance)
Core Responsibilities
- Manage strategic cloud service contracts (SaaS, PaaS, IaaS) and emerging technologies
- Translate technical/legal terms into business insights and compliance strategies
- Lead cloud audit processes and vendor performance management
- Develop business cases for complex technology solutions and tender processes
- Align cloud asset management with international financial standards
