Position Overview

We seek an experienced professional to oversee software testing processes including performance evaluation, automated script development, and system analysis to ensure optimal application performance.

Key Requirements

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree/Advanced Diploma (NQF 7) + 8-10 years software testing experience (3-4 years in performance testing)
  • OR Senior Certificate (NQF 4) + 15 years testing experience (3-4 years in performance testing)

Technical Skills:

  • Certification in Testing Techniques (ITSEB/ISTQB)
  • Advanced HP Quality Centre knowledge
  • Proficiency in 3+ scripting languages and performance testing tools
  • SQL/DB2 query expertise and network architecture understanding
  • MS Office Suite proficiency

Core Responsibilities

Testing & Analysis:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive testing strategies
  • Conduct compatibility and performance evaluations
  • Manage defect lifecycle and risk mitigation

Process Improvement:

  • Optimize testing methodologies and resource allocation
  • Implement best practices across technical teams
  • Produce detailed performance metrics and reports

Leadership & Collaboration:

  • Guide multidisciplinary project teams
  • Provide technical mentorship and knowledge sharing
  • Coordinate with stakeholders across organizational levels
