Key Responsibilities
- Lead conceptualization and execution of research projects
- Manage research teams and coordinate parliamentary committee support
- Provide strategic guidance on social equity research priorities
- Oversee quality control of research outputs
- Manage project budgets and resource allocation
- Produce policy briefs and present findings to stakeholders
Essential Requirements
- Master’s degree (NQF 9) in Social Sciences, Development Studies, Gender Studies or related field
- Proven track record managing complex research initiatives
- Strong understanding of parliamentary processes
- Excellent analytical and report-writing capabilities
- Leadership experience in academic or policy environments
