Experience Needed: Minimum 5 years in research leadership

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead conceptualization and execution of research projects
  • Manage research teams and coordinate parliamentary committee support
  • Provide strategic guidance on social equity research priorities
  • Oversee quality control of research outputs
  • Manage project budgets and resource allocation
  • Produce policy briefs and present findings to stakeholders

Essential Requirements

  • Master’s degree (NQF 9) in Social Sciences, Development Studies, Gender Studies or related field
  • Proven track record managing complex research initiatives
  • Strong understanding of parliamentary processes
  • Excellent analytical and report-writing capabilities
  • Leadership experience in academic or policy environments
