Key Responsibilities

  • Recruit and support smallholder farmers in Milk Recording Scheme implementation
  • Conduct training programs for farmers and technical staff
  • Collect and verify milk production data using advanced testing equipment
  • Maintain equipment calibration for accurate measurement results
  • Analyze technical data and prepare detailed reports
  • Collaborate with breeding, nutrition, and dairy processing teams
  • Organize farmer workshops and knowledge-sharing events
  • Ensure compliance with occupational health/safety regulations

Essential Requirements

  • National Diploma (NQF6) with 8 years experience OR
    B-Tech (NQF7) with 6 years experience OR
    M-Tech (NQF8) with 2 years experience
  • Proficiency in animal production systems
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Strong computer skills (MS Office suite)
  • Excellent communication and reporting abilities
