Position Details

Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage national/international forage breeding initiatives
- Develop research proposals and secure funding opportunities
- Coordinate multi-disciplinary research teams
- Manage plant breeders’ rights and cultivar registration
- Produce scientific publications and technical reports
- Supervise postgraduate students
- Implement modern breeding technologies including marker-assisted selection
Requirements: Senior Researcher
- PhD in Plant Breeding + 5 years post-doctoral experience
- Minimum 12 peer-reviewed publications
- Proven track record in cultivar development and commercialization
- Experience in securing substantial research funding
Requirements: Researcher
- PhD or MSc + 3 years practical breeding experience
- Minimum 2 scientific publications
- Experience in biotechnology applications
- Valid driver’s license (Code 8/10)
