Location: Multiple locations in KwaZulu-Natal
Employment Type: Full-time
Experience: 3-5 years
Qualifications: Matric + Traffic Officer Diploma + Registration

  • Empangeni Region: 3 positions (Empangeni, Mtubatuba, Vryheid)
  • Durban Region: 3 positions (Port Shepstone x2, Winkelspruit)
  • Pietermaritzburg Region: 1 position
  • Ladysmith Region: 3 positions (Ladysmith x2, Greytown)

Key Requirements

  • Valid Senior Certificate (Matric)
  • Basic Traffic Officer’s Diploma
  • Current Traffic Officer registration
  • Valid Code B driver’s license
  • 3-5 years experience as Provincial Inspector
  • Clean criminal record

Primary Responsibilities

  • Supervise and manage inspection teams
  • Enforce road traffic and transport regulations
  • Inspect driver licenses and vehicle compliance
  • Conduct roadside traffic control operations
  • Monitor vehicle testing stations
  • Mentor junior traffic inspectors
  • Maintain operational records and reports
