Education: National Diploma/Bachelor’s Degree in Security Risk Management or related field (NQF6/7)
About the SIU:
We are an independent statutory body established to investigate corruption, malpractice, and maladministration within South African state institutions.
Role Purpose:
Identify, analyze, and mitigate operational risks to protect SIU assets, personnel, and information. Lead threat response initiatives and collaborate with national security agencies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct threat intelligence gathering and risk analysis
- Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies
- Lead security awareness training programs
- Manage incident response and forensic investigations
- Coordinate with SAPS, NPA, and defense intelligence units
- Supervise risk assessment team operations
Requirements:
- Grade 12 certificate
- PSIRA Grade A certification
- 3 years’ security experience including team leadership
- Proficiency in security management systems
- SSA Security Management training (advantageous)
