Position: Senior Officer: Trade Unions (SOTU)

Minimum Requirements

  • Diploma in Public Management/Administration/Law/Communications (Degree preferred)
  • 3+ years public administration experience with team leadership roles
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Understanding of labor legislation and PSCBC procedures

  • Strategic analysis & report writing
  • Advanced stakeholder management
  • Knowledge of POPI Act compliance

Primary Responsibilities

  • Develop operational plans for Collective Bargaining Unit
  • Implement trade union administration frameworks
  • Manage team workflow and staff development
  • Coordinate sector-wide stakeholder engagements
  • Produce statistical reports and performance analytics
  • Facilitate training programs for union representatives
