Required Experience: 4 years in medical environment
Location: Cape Town, Western Cape
Professional Registration: Valid HPCSA registration required

Core Responsibilities

Case Management

• Activate undertaking certificates and prepare detailed case reports
• Conduct home assessments and educate claimants about rehabilitation processes
• Coordinate medical referrals and monitor treatment progress
• Facilitate patient reintegration into family and work environments

Rehabilitation Coordination

• Monitor post-discharge recovery progress
• Assess caregiver requirements and home modification needs
• Manage hospitalization authorizations and transfers
• Process caregiver payments and timesheet verification

Financial Oversight

• Verify provider invoices comply with RAF regulations
• Monitor claims for potential over-servicing or irregularities
• Ensure timely payment processing

Reporting & Collaboration

• Maintain updated patient progress reports
• Evaluate provider service delivery
• Engage healthcare professionals for optimal care coordination

Essential Requirements

• Degree/Diploma in relevant healthcare field
• Active registration with HPCSA
• 4+ years clinical experience
• Managed healthcare environment experience preferred
• Valid driver’s license (Code 8)
