The Special Investigating Unit (SIU) is an independent statutory body established under the Special Investigating Units and Special Tribunals Act (No. 74 of 1996). Our mandate focuses on investigating corruption, malpractice, and maladministration in state institutions to protect public resources.
Position Details
Job Type: Full Time
Location: Pretoria, Gauteng
Experience: 6-8 years (4 years managerial)
Education: Honours Degree (NQF 8) in Business Administration, Public Administration, or related field
Department: Administration / Human Resources
Role Purpose
Lead organizational strategy execution by implementing performance monitoring systems aligned with SIU’s national and provincial objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic performance management frameworks
- Oversee organizational reporting systems for national/provincial operations
- Analyze business performance metrics and prepare executive reports
- Manage strategy alignment across departments
- Lead team delivering performance insights to senior leadership
Requirements
- Honours degree in relevant field (NQF Level 8)
- 6-8 years’ experience in corporate performance management
- Proven leadership experience (minimum 4 years team management)
- Understanding of public sector governance frameworks
- Forensic investigation environment experience (advantageous)
