Position Details

• Employment Type: Full-Time
• Education Requirement: Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering
• Experience Needed: 8+ years (5 years post-ECSA registration)
• Location: Durban, KwaZulu-Natal
• Department: Engineering & Technical Services

Key Responsibilities

• Lead maintenance planning, estimation, and scheduling operations
• Manage branch operations and regulatory compliance
• Oversee safety programs and accident prevention initiatives
• Prepare and manage capital/operational budgets
• Coordinate material procurement and resource allocation
• Supervise staff recruitment and performance management
• Maintain public relations with community stakeholders

Essential Qualifications

• BEng/BSc in Electrical Engineering (NQF 8)
• ECSA Professional Engineer registration
• Valid driver’s license
• Proven leadership experience in municipal engineering
