Candidate Requirements

  • Proven negotiation skills in complex labor environments
  • Strong stakeholder management capabilities
  • Advanced conflict resolution expertise
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Valid driver’s license

Key Responsibilities

Representation & Advocacy
  • Lead municipal representation at bargaining councils and dispute resolutions
  • Manage labor relations processes including arbitration and disciplinary hearings
  • Develop advocacy positions for sector mandates
Municipal Support
  • Provide expert guidance on labor relations compliance
  • Conduct capacity building programs for municipal staff
  • Develop implementation guidelines for labor legislation
Strategic Operations
  • Oversee program planning and budget management
  • Implement monitoring systems for policy compliance
  • Manage organizational risks and governance processes
