Position Requirements

  • LLB degree or equivalent qualification recognized by SAQA
  • Eight years’ practical legal experience post-qualification
  • Valid driver’s license (accommodations available for PWD applicants)

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide legal opinions and advisory services to department leadership
  • Manage litigation processes through State Attorney coordination
  • Draft and review legal contracts and agreements
  • Offer legal guidance to MEC, Head of Department, and staff
