Field: Finance/Accounting/Audit

Minimum Requirements

• Grade 12 Certificate
• National Diploma or Higher (NQF Level 6) in Internal Audit/Accounting
• 4 years experience in Audit Environment
• Valid driver’s license
• Computer literacy
• IIASA membership advantageous
• Knowledge of Local Government operations preferred

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement Annual Audit Plans
• Supervise audit team activities and quality control
• Review municipal financial statements and performance reports
• Evaluate SMART compliance for municipal performance data
• Coordinate Audit Committee engagements
• Prepare comprehensive audit reports
• Monitor budget adjustments and IDP compliance
