Senior Human Resource Practitioner (Gauteng)

Department: Department of Water and Sanitation

Minimum Requirements:

  • National Diploma/Degree in HR Management/Public Administration or equivalent
  • 3-5 years’ HR experience in public sector environment
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Thorough knowledge of public service regulations and legislation
  • Supervisory experience (advantageous)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee pension administration and GEPF compliance
  • Manage HR databases and employee records
  • Lead recruitment processes from advertising to appointments
  • Provide HR advisory services to management and staff
  • Coordinate employee benefits and conditions of service
  • Supervise and develop HR team members
  • Ensure compliance with employment equity targets
