Key Requirements

Essential Qualifications:

• Electrical Artisan Trade Test Certificate
• Valid Code C1 + PrDP Driver’s License
• ORHVS Certification
• Mobile Elevating Work Platform (MEWP) Certification
• 3+ years electrical maintenance experience
• Proficiency in at least two Western Cape official languages

Preferred Qualifications:

• N4 Electrical Engineering Certificate + Wireman’s License
• Crane Operation Certification
• Code EC Driver’s License

Core Responsibilities

• Oversee installation/maintenance of LV 400V electrical infrastructure
• Coordinate team operations and safety compliance
• Perform cable jointing, line tensioning, and transformer maintenance
• Conduct electrical fault diagnosis and repairs
• Supervise staff performance and adherence to safety protocols
• Manage material transportation and equipment operations
