Senior Court Interpreter (REF NO: 25/15/FS)

Location: Bloemfontein, Free State

Employment Type: Full Time

Job Requirements:

  • Education: NQF Level 4/Grade 12 with 10 years’ interpreting experience
    OR
    National Diploma in Legal Interpreting (NQF 5) with 3 years’ experience
  • Language Proficiency: English + 3 of: IsiXhosa/Afrikaans/Sesotho
  • Valid driver’s license preferred

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide interpreting services in criminal, civil, and labor courts
  • Translate legal documents and case exhibits
  • Manage court records and case documentation
  • Coordinate foreign language interpreters
  • Supervise junior interpreters
  • Support court administration processes
