Responsibilities

  • Lead overall skill development for employees at all levels in South Africa using effective and creative learning programs.
  • Manage projects on operational excellence, customer experience, and leadership to ensure they finish on time and succeed.
  • Create and deliver training to boost operational efficiency and performance.
  • Spot ways to improve processes and give advice to teams across the business.
  • Design training in key areas like operations management, people leadership, client engagement, and stakeholder management.
  • Share monthly training reports with HR and operations leaders.
  • Work with operations teams to identify challenges and solve them with tailored training.
  • Track training quality and keep records and reports on training activities.
  • Partner with business leaders to assess training needs, find solutions, and manage the setup, delivery, and quality of programs.
  • Lead or help design talent programs like succession planning and leadership development, working with senior leaders to meet business goals.
  • Create fresh strategies, methods, and tools for program rollout.
  • Plan and handle communications for internal and external activities, coordinating with the global capability team.
  • Research and prepare materials, presentations, and advice on handling business issues through communication.
  • Find and evaluate chances to improve business processes.
  • Add to EXL’s knowledge in organizational development.
  • Regularly check the impact, success, and return on investment of training programs.
  • Start projects, define goals and deliverables, and plan steps.
  • Build and maintain communication with teams, managers, and stakeholders.
  • Organize meetings and support decisions.
  • Carry out work, guide the team, and ensure resources for on-time delivery.
  • Finish projects and prepare reports and documents for management.

Qualifications

  • University degree or postgraduate degree in Human Resources or Organizational Development.
  • Knowledge of the South African legal framework.
  • Take responsibility for the Skills Development Facilitator (SDF) role in South Africa.
  • At least 10 years of experience in creating learning and development strategies and solutions.
  • At least 8 years in facilitating functional training, leadership programs, and training management.
  • Solid understanding of learning and development functions, basics, and processes.
  • Experience in analyzing, designing, and developing learning content.
  • Skilled in Excel and PowerPoint, with the ability to handle training data, dashboards, databases, and reports.
