Requirements
- Admitted as Attorney in South Africa
- Experience with civil litigation, government regulations, and constitutional law
- Knowledge of legal accounting systems and trust fund management
- Familiarity with court procedures across multiple jurisdictions
- Valid driver’s license (conveyancing experience preferred)
Key Responsibilities
- Represent state interests in higher courts, labor tribunals, and land claims disputes
- Prepare legal documents, opinions, and settlement agreements
- Handle insolvency cases, debt recovery, and property transactions
- Supervise junior legal staff and provide mentorship
- Manage arbitration processes and inter-departmental legal matters
