Requirements
- Trade Test Certificate in Diesel Mechanic
- 3-5 years of post-apprenticeship experience
- Additional experience in auto-electric, hydraulics, air brake systems, and maintenance of earth-moving machines is an advantage
- Valid Code EC driver’s license
Responsibilities / Duties
- Perform high-level complex activities within the trade. Work independently and supervise staff when needed.
- Applicants must be literate in at least two of the three official languages of the Western Cape.
- The competency level for this position is level 3, as stipulated in Annexure A of the Municipal Staff Regulations (Government Notice No. 890, Government Gazette 45181 dated 20 September 2021). This includes the required competencies for the role.
