Job Purpose

To monitor the implementation of anthropological, policy, governance, and oversight services.

Requirements

  • Matric Certificate
  • Diploma or Degree (NQF Level 6) in Anthropology and African History, Socio-Cultural Anthropology, or Social Science in Anthropology, as recognized by SAQA
  • Minimum 2 years’ relevant experience at an Anthropologist level
  • A valid driver’s license

Duties

  • Review the provision of anthropological research services
  • Examine investigations on traditional leadership disputes
  • Verify anthropological information management systems
  • Maintain the implementation of customary laws of succession and update genealogies of traditional communities
  • Analyze reports on anthropological client inquiries
