Core Responsibilities

• Guide junior team members in research and case resolution
• Lead competition policy development initiatives
• Manage advocacy projects and regulatory analysis
• Oversee investigations of potential Competition Act violations
• Identify team training needs
• Represent the Commission in stakeholder engagements
• Contribute to strategic planning processes

Candidate Requirements

• Proven track record in complex project leadership
• Advanced policy analysis and legislative evaluation skills
• Strong economic research capabilities
• Experience in regulatory/compliance environments preferred
• Knowledge of South African economic landscape
• Excellent communication and mentorship abilities

Additional Preferences

• Postgraduate qualification in related field
• Experience managing analytical teams
