Key Requirements
Essential Qualifications:
- 3-year tertiary qualification (NQF6) in Risk Management, Internal Audit, Law, Policing, Forensic Investigations, or related discipline
- Valid driver’s license
- CFE certification preferred (advantageous)
Core Competencies:
- Proven understanding of investigative procedures
- Knowledge of PFMA, unemployment insurance laws, and anti-corruption policies
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication and report-writing abilities
Primary Responsibilities
- Implement fraud prevention strategies across departmental operations
- Conduct thorough investigations into reported misconduct cases
- Analyze system vulnerabilities for fraud risks
- Collaborate with internal teams and external agencies on prevention measures
- Supervise investigative team members and resources
