Key Requirements

Essential Qualifications:

  • 3-year tertiary qualification (NQF6) in Risk Management, Internal Audit, Law, Policing, Forensic Investigations, or related discipline
  • Valid driver’s license
  • CFE certification preferred (advantageous)

Core Competencies:

  • Proven understanding of investigative procedures
  • Knowledge of PFMA, unemployment insurance laws, and anti-corruption policies
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and report-writing abilities

Primary Responsibilities

  • Implement fraud prevention strategies across departmental operations
  • Conduct thorough investigations into reported misconduct cases
  • Analyze system vulnerabilities for fraud risks
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external agencies on prevention measures
  • Supervise investigative team members and resources
