Senior Administration Officer: EB Withdrawals
About Us:
We administer pension services for 1.7 million government employees and pensioners as Africa’s largest pension fund administrator under the National Treasury.
Position Details:
- Employment Type: Full-Time
- Location: Pretoria, Gauteng
- Experience: 3-5 years in Employee Benefits
- Education: National Certificate/Diploma/Degree in Finance (NQF 6)
Key Requirements:
- 3-year finance qualification + 3 years EB experience (including 1 year supervisory)
- OR 3-year finance qualification + 5 years EB experience
- Proven expertise in pension claim processing
- Knowledge of GEPF regulations and tax directives
Core Responsibilities:
- Oversee withdrawal claim processing and authorization
- Manage team performance targets and workflow
- Ensure compliance with pension regulations
- Resolve complex pension queries and escalations
- Maintain payment accuracy and fraud prevention
- Produce operational reports and statistics
Team Leadership Duties:
- Staff training and development
- Work allocation and quality control
- Performance management
- Process improvement initiatives
