Senior Administration Officer: EB Withdrawals

About Us:

We administer pension services for 1.7 million government employees and pensioners as Africa’s largest pension fund administrator under the National Treasury.

Position Details:

  • Employment Type: Full-Time
  • Location: Pretoria, Gauteng
  • Experience: 3-5 years in Employee Benefits
  • Education: National Certificate/Diploma/Degree in Finance (NQF 6)

Key Requirements:

  • 3-year finance qualification + 3 years EB experience (including 1 year supervisory)
  • OR 3-year finance qualification + 5 years EB experience
  • Proven expertise in pension claim processing
  • Knowledge of GEPF regulations and tax directives

Core Responsibilities:

  • Oversee withdrawal claim processing and authorization
  • Manage team performance targets and workflow
  • Ensure compliance with pension regulations
  • Resolve complex pension queries and escalations
  • Maintain payment accuracy and fraud prevention
  • Produce operational reports and statistics

Team Leadership Duties:

  • Staff training and development
  • Work allocation and quality control
  • Performance management
  • Process improvement initiatives
