Position Overview

Purpose: Lead the design and implementation of enterprise IT architectures through solution development and technical advisement for organizational projects.

Requirements

Education & Experience:

  • Option 1: Bachelor’s Degree (NQF 7) in IT/Computer Science + 8-10 years’ IT experience (3-4 years at specialist level)
  • Option 2: Senior Certificate (NQF 4) + 15 years’ IT experience (3-4 years at specialist level)

Technical Competencies:

  • Minimum 5 years solutions design experience
  • Enterprise Architecture framework implementation
  • Microsoft Hybrid Cloud and workplace solutions
  • Technology roadmap development

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop solution architectures aligned with business requirements
  • Lead technical direction for strategic digital transformation projects
  • Manage cross-functional collaboration for solution implementation
  • Maintain architectural governance and standards compliance
  • Evaluate emerging technologies through RFP processes
  • Create documentation for systems and interfaces
