Job Purpose

The Security & Compliance Operations Admin role involves handling all administrative tasks in the department to support security and compliance efforts.

Job Description

  • Manage all administrative work related to security and compliance.
  • Review and update policies every quarter.
  • Oversee the Information Security Management System (ISMS).
  • Handle and coordinate all security updates and notifications.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing team on monthly communications about IT security.
  • Prepare and manage materials for user awareness training and submit them for rollout.
  • Assist with audit preparations for ISO twice a year.
  • Prepare monthly report packs and presentations.
  • Act as the main administrator for the Mango SHEQ platform, covering all modules such as Incident Management, Document Control, Risk, Audit, Compliance, Non-Conformance, and Training.
  • Maintain user access, permissions, and profiles according to organizational roles.
  • Coordinate the upload, update, and control of SHEQ and ISMS documents, including procedures, policies, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Ensure incidents, non-conformances, audits, and corrective actions are recorded accurately and on time in Mango.
  • Generate scheduled compliance reports, dashboards, and data insights for management review.

Job Requirements

  • Senior certificate or NQF 4.
  • Diploma or certification in a relevant IT field.
  • Working knowledge of ISO 27001 standards.
  • Familiarity with South African SHE legislation and POPIA requirements.

Competencies

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot complex network and security issues.
  • Excellent communication skills for working with internal teams and third-party providers.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • A proactive approach to identifying and reducing risks.
  • Ability to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical people.
