Position Purpose

The Sector Specific Trainee Programme (SST) offers students and recent graduates practical workplace experience to apply their academic knowledge in real-world scenarios. This 12-month programme includes hands-on training, mentorship, and industry-specific tasks to enhance employability.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in specific departmental projects and routine operational tasks under supervision.
• Support administrative functions, including documentation and reporting.
• Participate in training, workshops, and mentorship programs.
• Shadow experienced professionals to gain practical insights.
• Engage in problem-solving activities to develop analytical skills.
• Provide regular updates on assigned tasks and project progress.
• Follow company policies, safety regulations, and ethical standards.

Qualifications and Experience

• Grade 12/Matric (N6 in Logistics/Transport is advantageous).
• Youth aged between 18 and 35 years.

Required Competencies

• Interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
• Conflict management and resolution abilities.
• Effective writing and communication skills.
• Self-motivation, attention to detail, and a service-oriented mindset.
• Integrity, ability to work under pressure, and strong computer literacy.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office packages and ability to multitask.
