Requirements:
- Grade 10
- Surf Proficiency Award certificate
- Valid retest certificate
- One (1) year relevant lifesaving experience
Key Performance Areas:
- Rescue drowning persons
- Patrol city beaches and check local conditions
- Provide first aid to injured people
- Operate rescue equipment, including inflatable boats
- Control crowds and perform peace officer duties
