Job Description

The School Marketer Intern will help the Sales and Marketing team promote Freedom Stationery products to schools in the Cape Town area. This role supports marketing efforts, builds customer relationships, and increases brand awareness in the education sector.

Key Responsibilities

  • Help plan and carry out school marketing activities and promotions.
  • Support the sales team at school visits, exhibitions, and educational events.
  • Distribute marketing materials and product samples to schools and distributors.
  • Conduct basic market research and gather customer feedback.
  • Update and maintain the school database and contact lists.
  • Assist with administrative tasks, reporting, and follow-up communications.
  • Represent Freedom Stationery in a professional manner at all times.

This role is perfect for a motivated graduate who wants to gain hands-on experience in marketing and sales, while helping Freedom Stationery provide quality stationery to schools.

Job Requirements

  • National Diploma or Degree in Marketing, Business Management, or a related field.
  • Basic knowledge of marketing principles and customer engagement.
  • Computer skills, especially in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a positive and professional attitude.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team.
  • High level of enthusiasm, self-motivation, and eagerness to learn.
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to schools in the Cape Town region (preferred).
  • South African citizen living in or near Cape Town.
