Job Description
Motus Daimler Trucks Polokwane is looking for a Sales Representative to sell new trucks and achieve maximum profit. The role requires a strong sales track record, excellent customer service, and the ability to close deals independently.
Key Responsibilities
- Sell new trucks to meet profit and unit targets.
- Maintain high customer satisfaction and encourage repeat sales.
- Complete transactions within targeted timeframes and with accurate documentation.
- Initiate and close deals confidently.
- Manage credit limits and ensure outstanding creditors stay within agreed targets.
- Record all vehicle transactions accurately and complete all required legal and control documentation.
- Review daily activities, promotions, and sales targets with the Sales Manager for continuous improvement.
- Participate in sales campaigns and promotions to maximize sales penetration.
- Use innovative thinking to expand the customer base.
- Discuss pricing policy changes with the Sales Manager.
Skills & Personal Attributes

- Financial understanding of business operations.
- Excellent product knowledge.
- Positive attitude and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills (verbal, electronic, etc.).

- Proactive in initiating contact with customers.
Qualifications & Experience
- Matric (high school diploma).
- Valid driver’s license (Code 14).
- Clear criminal record.
- Minimum 3 years of sales experience in the truck industry.
- Experience with volume sales.
- Knowledge of work‑related or OEM systems.
- Experience with Kerridge and Autoline systems is a must.
