Job Description

Hire Resolve is currently seeking a skilled Sales Manager for a client in the packaging industry. In this role, you will be instrumental in driving sales growth and managing client relationships. Responsibilities include developing and executing sales strategies, identifying new business opportunities, and fostering strong client connections. You will collaborate closely with internal teams to deliver tailored solutions that meet client needs and drive success. Key Performance Areas:Actively seeking and securing new business opportunities.Excelling in sales management to consistently surpass budgetary targets.Collaborating with Production, Planning, and Design teams to optimize service delivery for Key Accounts.Achieving and exceeding monthly sales budgets.Identifying and capitalizing on emerging market prospects and product offerings.Strategically allocating resources for new opportunities.Cultivating enduring relationships with existing and potential Key Account Customers.Proactively monitoring competitor activities.Crafting professional price proposals for all clientele.Orchestrating successful key account events and initiatives.Ensuring prompt and effective communication and resolution of customer requirements and complaints.Providing regular updates to the Manager on sales progress.Efficiently managing inventory to minimize obsolescence costs.RequirementsThe ideal candidate should meet the following qualifications:Possess a minimum of 3 to 5 years of sales experience, with a focus on proactive “hunting” for new business opportunities.Hold a relevant degree conducive to sales and new business expansion.Proficiency in computer applications such as Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.Familiarity with the plastics/packaging industry would be beneficial.Prior sales experience in the manufacturing sector is essential.Key Competencies:Demonstrated success in sales, backed by a proven track record.Aptitude for recognizing and seizing opportunities.Proficiency in budget preparation and management, with a focus on achieving targets.Strong analytical skills.Driven by a high need for achievement.Self-discipline and determination to excel.Ability to establish rapport quickly and effectively.Efficient and effective deal-closing skills.Please note that several interviews will be required, along with psychometric testing.
