Position Overview
Location: Bellville, Western Cape
Employment Type: Full Time
Experience: 2+ years in hardware retail
Education: Matric certificate required
Purpose of Role
Deliver expert product guidance and exceptional service to help customers find optimal painting solutions, driving sales growth while maintaining high customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide professional customer assistance in product selection
- Maintain stock levels through regular counts and replenishment
- Handle merchandising and pricing accuracy
- Process special orders and manage department administration
- Maintain clean, organized work areas
- Participate in inventory management
Candidate Requirements
- Proven experience with paint products (minimum 2 years)
- Retail sales background in hardware environment
- Strong communication skills (verbal & written)
- Product knowledge certification preferred
- Basic understanding of merchandising standards
- Customer service training completion
