Sales Assistant – Electrical & Lighting Department

Position Purpose:
Deliver exceptional customer service while providing expert product recommendations to meet client needs. Drive sales growth through professional customer engagement and effective department management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide knowledgeable assistance to customers in product selection
- Maintain optimal stock levels through regular counts and inventory management
- Process orders and manage customer administration
- Ensure effective product merchandising and accurate pricing
- Maintain clean and organized department presentation
- Handle special orders and supplier communications
- Participate in stock management processes
Qualifications and Experience:
- High School Diploma (Matric certificate)
- 2+ years hardware retail experience
- Specialized knowledge of electrical & lighting products
- Proven sales ability and customer service skills
- Basic computer and administrative skills
- Clear verbal/written communication
