Job Title: Technical Driver Trainer

Location: Boksburg, Gauteng

Job Type: Full Time

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver effective training sessions, ensuring all materials and equipment are ready.
  • Engage learners by tailoring content to their skill levels and addressing barriers like language and culture.
  • Deliver training as per SAQA, SETA, and NOSA standards, adhering to Quality Management System (QMS) requirements.
  • Conduct assessments and moderations following SETA/NOSA guidelines.
  • Provide constructive feedback to learners and manage Portfolios of Evidence securely.
  • Promote additional NOSA training programs during interactions.
  • Build positive relationships with clients and internal stakeholders, ensuring professional representation of the brand.
  • Support clients with training projects and resolve queries efficiently.
  • Stay updated with industry trends, safety standards, and best practices through continuous professional development.
  • Maintain valid assessor and moderator registrations with relevant SETAs.
  • Adhere to NOSA’s Quality Management System standards.

Requirements:

  • Grade 12 (Matric) certificate required.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in driver training, preferably in heavy vehicle operations.
  • At least 3 years of industry experience in transport, logistics, or a related field.
  • Valid TETA-accredited Facilitator and Assessor certification is compulsory.
  • Valid Code 14 (EC) driver’s licence with a PrDP.
  • Own a reliable vehicle and be willing to travel to client sites.
  • Fluent in English; additional national language skills are a plus.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Preference will be given to Employment Equity candidates.
