Programme Overview

The SABS Youth Development Programme is a one‑year internship that starts in April 2026. It is designed to give graduates practical work exposure, mentoring and learning opportunities that align with organisational and national skills priorities.

Successful candidates will receive a monthly stipend of R8,000 and will be placed on a fixed‑term 12‑month contract.

Minimum Requirements

  • South African citizen
  • Age 18–35 years
  • Completed a relevant qualification (Diploma or Advanced Certificate)
  • Minimum 80% academic average
  • No formal work experience related to the field of study
  • Currently unemployed
