Job Summary

We are looking for a hands‑on, hardworking General Worker to support our Wheel Alignment Technician. The role involves assisting with vehicle preparation, tool management, cleaning, and general workshop tasks to ensure smooth and safe operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the Wheel Alignment Technician with vehicle preparation and general maintenance tasks.
• Move vehicles safely into and out of workshop bays (non‑driving duties).
• Fit and remove fender covers, wheel covers, and basic protective equipment.
• Help loosen and tighten wheel nuts under supervision.
• Keep tools, equipment, and workshop areas clean, organised, and safe.
• Set up alignment equipment and tools for daily tasks.
• Report faulty tools or equipment to the supervisor.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment, including sweeping, cleaning spills, and tidying work areas.
• Assist with waste disposal, recycling of old parts, and general workshop cleanliness.
• Fetch parts from the storeroom, unpack, sort, and organise stock.
• Support the technician during wheel alignment, tyre fitment, and suspension tasks.
• Perform any additional duties assigned by the Service Manager or Technician.

Minimum Requirements

• Matric certificate (Grade 12) – essential.
• At least 3 years of experience as a Wheel Alignment or Workshop general assistant.
• Valid driver’s licence.
• Strong understanding of vehicle maintenance and repair principles.
• Ability to interpret technical data and follow manufacturer specifications.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
